Extreme Makeover: Satellite Studios Edition

Hi All

We’re looking for volunteers to come out this Saturday, Sept 5th between 9am and 4pm and help Pump Project build walls, paint, clean and landscape over at our new 2nd location, Satellite Studios at 1109 Shady Lane. 
We really need skilled labor- those of you who know how to frame a wall, hang drywall, run electrical and tape and float- however if you can’t do any of those things we’d love to have you come and help anyway-there is plenty to do! This invitation is open to everyone so if you have friends, colleagues or significant others who may want to help send them our way- Even a few hours of your time would be very much appreciated!

We’d like to know:

• If you have skills in any of the above listed areas
• If you have tools you can bring that can be borrowed for the day (ex: extra step ladders, shovels, cordless drills, brooms, etc)
• What time you are available on Saturday.

Food will be provided!

We hope to build out two new studio spaces, finish painting and do some landscaping – come see the new space and get involved!

Open Figure Drawing Sessions will be held Monday and Tuesdays from 7-9 pm
$5 participation fee
Wednesday session is canceled due to Texas Biennial gallery hours.

Register now for a special three-week portrait painting class!
Learn the basics of capturing a likeness with Professor Doug Weber’s simple and easy to use techniques. All experience levels welcome. The class will beginSunday, March 15, 2-5 pm, and will continue on Sunday March 22 & 29, 2-5 pm. 
Class fee is $90. 

You must register for this class in advance. Registration is limited to ten participants.
